Car park alerts

Hillsborough car park in Ilfracombe will experience some disruption between 15 August and 7 September as we install EV chargers. Some bays will be out of action and between 22 August and 5 September there will be some trenching and traffic lights/pavement closures. All dates are estimated.

Belle Meadow, Barnstaple - Electric Vehicle charge points are being installed at Belle Meadow car park from 1 July 2022. Please do not move the cones in place.

Refunds – We only offer a refund when duplicate parking time is purchased and proof can be provided (for example two pay and display tickets or RingGo invoices) or if a parking permit is cancelled with no less than one full month remaining. 4 and 7 day Long Stay Season tickets are non-refundable.

Marine Drive car park in Ilfracombe has reduced capacity due to construction works in the area. If you have purchased a 4 or 7 day long stay season ticket and there are no available bays on Marine Drive, you may park on Cove instead whilst works are carried out. If you need to find an alternative long stay car park, please look at our list of long stay car parks in Ilfracombe.

Cattle Market, Barnstaple - The additional designated Blue Badge holder bays that were temporarily added, at the request of Devon County Council, have now been reverted to disabled bays as part of the overall Pay and Display car park. Pay and Display tickets will now need to be purchased in line with the Off Street Parking Order and enforcement will be carried out on these bays with immediate effect.

RingGo - We would like to encourage customers to purchase parking time via the RingGo cashless payment system as it is the only contactless method of payment, although card and cash options are still available in most car parks.

Rugby Club, Barnstaple is being temporarily closed from 7 July 2022. Permit holders may use the Mill Street car park in the interim.
