We charge for bulky waste collections. These charges are subject to change and are kept updated on our bulky items webpage.

Any item that is very large, heavy or unusual will be classed as a non- standard item and attract a higher charge dependent on the size/ weight.

We will supply details and take payment for collecting items when booking collections from householders. Our price will be determined by the size and weight of the item, as well as the resources required to pick up the item.

We will only collect items that are classified as household waste. For example, we will not collect fixtures and fittings (from house and grounds refurbishment), soil and rubble, clinical or hazardous waste. We will collect items that can be safely carried on a trolley, by one operative (up to a maximum of 40kg). 

We arrange collections for a specific day and householders must place the item on the kerbside by 6am that day.

Payment for a bulky waste must be paid in advance.

Refunds are only applicable if collection is cancelled before noon the (working) day before the actual collection.

We will return within 5 working days for any missed bulky waste collections.
