Have your say on North Devon's polling stations

Residents in North Devon are being invited to have their say on polling stations within the district.

North Devon Council is conducting a review of polling arrangements for the constituency of North Devon - a process the council is required to do every five years.

By reviewing polling places, the council is ensuring all electors are able to conveniently access and use facilities for voting in elections.

The review is now under way, and will finish on 10 November.

Returning Officer at North Devon Council, Ken Miles, says: “We would like to hear from as many people and organisations as possible to make sure we are meeting the needs of local residents. We would welcome comments regarding the current or proposed arrangements and would particularly encourage any comments about the accessibility of polling stations for voters with any type of disability, whether it's for a specific polling place or in general."

For more information and for full details, including a map of polling stations, visit the council's elections page - www.northdevon.gov.uk/elections. Comments can be made via email to elections@northdevon.gov.uk or by post to Electoral Registration Officer, Lynton House, Commercial Road, Barnstaple, EX31 1DG.

Information and guidance on polling place reviews, including how to appeal a review, can be found on the Electoral Commission website.
