By signing up to either or both registers, you will help us find out more about the demand for custom build plots in northern Devon, where people would like their plot to be and the type of house that they would like to build.

At this stage you are not making any commitment as we are just trying to establish interest levels. Unfortunately, registration does not guarantee that a suitable plot will be identified, or become available and the Council does not currently own land that it has identified for self or custom house building although this will be under constant review.

By applying for a place on the self and custom house building register for North Devon you are agreeing that we can use the data you provide to understand interest in self/custom build in the area. We will not pass identifiable data from the register onto anyone outside the Council without the written consent of the person who registered their details. The register will not be a public document, but we may publish 'headline' data from it, (such as how many people are on the register and where they are seeking a plot).
