Join the Spooktacular Fun at Yeo Valley Woodland This Halloween!

Halloween

Get ready for a ghoulishly good time this Halloween as Yeo Valley Woodland invites families to their Spooktacular Family Fun Event on Sunday, 27 October, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. This fright-filled afternoon promises a range of fun and spooky activities for children and adults alike, including pumpkin carving, spooky crafts, refreshments, and a BBQ.

Visitors of all ages are encouraged to wear their scariest Halloween costumes, with a chance to win exciting prizes in the fancy dress competition, starting at 5:00pm. For those feeling creative, the best pumpkin carving contest will follow at 5:30pm.

Pumpkin carving will be available for just £2.50, with all proceeds supporting the Children's Summer Club and the Friends of Yeo Valley Community Woodland, ensuring this event contributes to the local community's wellbeing and future activities.

Lead Member for Climate and Biodiversity, Cllr Ricky Knight, said: "Bring your family and friends to Yeo Valley Woodland this Halloween for an unforgettable day of spookiness and community spirit. There's no need to book, just come along! We can't wait to see your creepy costumes and your creative pumpkin carvings!"

Yeo Valley Woodland, a Green Flag award-winning local nature reserve, is located off Silverwood Heights, Barnstaple. As there is no parking at the woodland, visitors are kindly advised to park on Derby Road and use the entrance just past Kingdom Hall.
