- Train Master North Devon
Dates: Tuesday 13 & 20 August
Time: 10am - 1pm
This free event is a delight for train enthusiasts of all ages! Enjoy a variety of trains, cars, fancy dress, crafts, ride-ons, and more. Booking is required; visit Trainmaster Devon & Cornwall to secure your spot.
- Stemgineering with Nick
Dates: Thursday 8 & 15 August
Time: 10am - 1pm
Dive into creative engineering workshops using LEGO, construction toys, recycled materials, and nature. These sessions, perfect for both children and adults, offer a fantastic way to explore STEM concepts in a fun and interactive environment. For more information, visit Stemgineering with Nick.
- Free Family Fundays
Dates: Thursday 22 & 29 August
Time: 10am – 3pm
Enjoy the excitement of Carnival games with Marvellous Eventures! The day includes face painting, carnival crafts, and a host of other fun activities.
- Creating for Carnival
Dates: Monday 12 August (1pm – 3pm) & Monday 2 September (10am – 1pm)
Join at Studio Kind for creative workshops where adults and children can craft banners, bunting, and other decorations for the upcoming Barnstaple Carnival. These workshops are led by ZESTLAB.

In addition to the many events in the Pannier Market, don't forget to visit the Turner Exhibition at the Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon until October.
