This festive season, Flourishing Barnstaple has partnered with local venues and workshop providers to create a comprehensive guide to Christmas events happening across the town. The festive events booklet, which details nearly 100 activities, is a must-have for anyone looking to make the most of the holiday season in Barnstaple.
After a callout for event submissions, the response was overwhelming, showcasing the vibrant and varied activities planned throughout the town. From workshops and markets to performances and community gatherings, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The printed guide will be available from Tuesday, 26 November at key locations across Barnstaple, including The Pannier Market, The Museum, and The Library, as well as other spots throughout the town. Additionally, copies will be distributed at Barnstaple’s Christmas Light Switch-On event on Thursday 28 November, ensuring residents and visitors can easily access this resource.
Lee Baxendale, Cultural Producer for Flourishing Barnstaple, said: "Christmas is a time of year that brings everyone together and through creation of this guide we have brought together information on many of the varied events which are taking place in Barnstaple this year. We hope this is merely the first of many guides and that this will become an annual publication."
This initiative has been made possible by Flourishing Barnstaple, a North Devon Council project supported by the Cultural Development Fund and administered by Arts Council England.
Don’t miss the chance to pick up your copy of the festive guide and explore the magic of Barnstaple this Christmas.
