This Halloween, Yeo Valley Woodland in Barnstaple invites families to join in the ghoulishly good times at their spooktacular family fun event on Sunday, 29 October from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. This frightfully fun event promises a day filled with pumpkin carving, spooky crafts, refreshments and a BBQ for adults and children alike.
Attendees are encouraged to come along in their scariest costumes for a chance to win a prize. The fancy dress competition judging will commence at 5:00pm, followed by the best pumpkin carving contest at 5:30pm.
Pumpkin carving will be available for a fee of £2.50, and all proceeds from this activity will go towards supporting the Children's Summer Club and the Friends of Yeo Valley Community Woodland.
Leader of North Devon Council, Councillor Ian Roome, says: "Bring your family and friends to Yeo Valley Woodland this Halloween for an unforgettable day of spookiness and community spirit. There's no need to book, just come along! We can't wait to see your creepy costumes and your creative pumpkin carvings!"
