North Devon and Torridge District Councils have a new strategy; Flourishing Culture. It sets out the value that culture brings to Northern Devon, the aspiration for what it could be, in all its forms across the region.
Culture means different things to different people - from a local book group to an art gallery, from a big festival to a village sports team. We want to know about the events you attend, the museums you visit and the crafts you create. We want to encourage more of the cultural activities that make this a great place to live, work and visit.
This study will help us understand current participation in culture and play a vital role in deciding how public money is spent on sports, arts, culture and other facilities in your local area.
