If you want to exhibit, demonstrate or perform hypnotisms on anyone as part of entertainment, whether they pay entry or otherwise, you must be authorised by the council's Licensing team.

To gain authorisation to carry out hypnotisms, you will also need to:

• forward a copy of the application to the Chief Officer of Police (North Devon Council may also copy it to the local Fire Authority where necessary)
• ensure you meet a list of conditions (pdf 26KB)

There is no fee for this application.
