Does the Council investigate the abuse/neglect of pet dogs, cats or other domestic animals?

No, North Devon Council does not investigate complaints of animal abuse/neglect in a domestic home. If you have concerns for pet animals you should contact the  RSPCA - Report cruelty or an animal in distress. 

We only investigate complaints surrounding animal welfare in premises that are, or should be licenced.
