Our searches are normally all returned within one working day. The exception is searches that are for properties within Exmoor National Park. As they are their own planning authority, their response can take two to three days to get back to us.

On the odd occasion searches may take two working days but very rarely more. We have not taken longer than 5 working days to do a full North Devon search for over fifteen years.

If you are being told your search is taking longer than the timescales above, it probably means your search is not being done by us. You will need to contact your conveyancer to find out who is doing the search and ask them why there is a delay.
