Open five days a week, all year round, the market is an ideal venue for small traders just starting out, or more established businesses looking for an additional retail outlet.
It’s easy. Download a copy of our trader application pack (PDF, 351KB) which includes all the information you will need to start trading. Please read our Licence Conditions (PDF, 2.6MB) before you apply.
Choose which day of the week best fits your business, then look at the floor plans to see where in the market you would like to be placed and how much it will cost.

Over their time with us, they quickly became a customer favourite. With determination, creativity, and the support of the market community, the business has continued to grow – and they’re now taking the exciting step of moving into their own shop on Butchers Row.
This is exactly what the Pannier Market is about: supporting independent traders, nurturing new ideas, and providing a strong platform for businesses to develop and expand.
