Whiddon Valley woodland consultation
North Devon Council is asking for your comments on a management plan for the woodland for the next 10 years. It follows recommendations from an ecological survey undertaken earlier in the year.
The plan recommends the coppicing of a small number of streamside trees each year and the limited coppicing of some hazels. The plan also recommends the removal of 6 larch trees each year in the lower wood.
The plan does not look at encroachment over neighbouring properties and this will be dealt with through the Tree Preservation Order planning process.
If you have any queries please contact the parks unit at North Devon Council on 01271 388326 or firstname.lastname@example.org
