Job Vacancy: Civil Parking Enforcement Officer

1924 hours per year (average 37 hours per week), permanent post

Salary: £16,781 to £20,138 per annum + enhancements for weekend working

 

We are looking for a confident and motivated person to join our parking enforcement team.

You must have excellent communication and customer service skills. As a representative of the Council you will provide advice and assistance in a friendly and polite manner. You will be resourceful, tactful and enjoy dealing with members of the public face to face, sometimes in difficult situations.

Your day will be spent patrolling in all weather and walking long distances. Duties will include driving to locations, so a full driving licence is essential.

You will be ensuring that our car parks are safe, operating correctly and issuing Penalty Charge Notices where necessary. Therefore, you must be an accurate decision maker, have good observation skills and be an adept user of IT.

You will be required to work on a rota basis, including Weekends and Bank Holidays to ensure that the service is operational 7 days per week.

Full uniform, training and Level 2 Qualification will be provided.
