The Slipway should never be left obstructed in any way. The Lifeboat always has priority of use. The slipway gates may be closed in the event of very high tides (over 9.5m), as a flood prevention precaution. On these occasions access and egress may be denied, you should therefore check with harbour staff before launching.

  • A small trailer park exists just East of the last available berth on the South side of the harbour. Trailers may be left here temporarily whilst boats are at sea.
  • The speed limit within the area depicted below is 4 Knots.
  • No aquaplaning, waterskiing or parascending in the Harbour Authority area.
  • No vessels are to be left unattended alongside any berths
